This is a set of antique draughtsman's rules. An English, pine engineer's instrument set in a mahogany case, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910.
- Superb personalised set of six Imperial Foot rules in a delightful case
- Displays a desirable aged patina and in very good order
- Quality beech with warm biscuit hues and clear ebonised annotations
- Each rule numbered in sequence from 10-60, including the small section rules
- One rule measures approx 31cm, equivalent to an imperial foot
- Marked for Inches, from 1-12 on both edges and in both directions
- Maker's marks for Aston & Mander, London throughout
- Personalised with E.N Davies to each piece and to the reverse of the carry case
- Case dressed with an inset working lock — key present
