This is an antique 3-draw telescope. An English, leather and brass terrestrial refractor by Broadhurst, Clarkson & Co, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910.
Perfect for bird watching, landscape appreciation, wildlife, or maritime observation. Equally suitable for observing the night sky
- Dressed for the field and of usefully compact form
- Displays a desirable aged patina throughout
- Quality brass shows delightful golden hues and lightly time worn
- Primary barrel dressed in stitched leather, tanned to alight brown
- Of 3-draw type, drawing from a usefully compact length of 27cm (10.75'')
- Fully drawn, extending to a length of 75cm (29.5'')
- Primary objective lens with a generous diameter of 60mm (2.25")
- Scratch to front element no hindrance to the viewing experience
- Engraved to the final barrel for Broadhurst, Clarkson & Co of London
- Leather dust cup with accessory carry strap for safe keeping
- Supplied with a London Fine oak and brass Captains Stand for display
