This is an antique gun slip case. An English, leather leg of mutton shotgun or rifle sleeve, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.

• Superb, antique country pursuits gun case in traditional form
• Displays a desirable aged patina an din good original order
• Quality leather in deep caramel hues and a lightly time worn appearance
• Replete with carry handle, and an adjustable shoulder strap
  
  
• Case secured by a sliding brass clasp behind a protective cover strap
• Dual division interior, to accommodate the stock and barrel respectively
• Interior finished in a Royal Blue baize, aged commensurate with use
• Embossed with the Army & Navy Stores Co-operative Society roundel
• Unmarked as such, but of similar size to the 'Hurlingham' model
