This is a vintage veneer thickness gauge. A French, bronze craftsman's measuring tool, dating to the mid 20th century, circa 1950.
- Wonderfully decorative, with a pleasingly tactile feel
- Displays a desirably aged, working patina throughout
- Brass body finished in hand-painted black with a sinuous natural bronze lever
- Open-faced dial without glass annotated from 1 - 8mm
- Dial with maker's mark 'M. Bossiere, Brevete - H.R.A & Co' and engraved to the side 'Made in France'
- Presented within a case, the interior lined with striking indigo hues
