This is a vintage ship's compass. An English, steel, maritime navigation compass dating to the mid-20th century, circa 1950.

Displaying a desirable aged patina and a consistent colour throughout
Pressed steel design with sealed compass unit
Cardinal directions with magnetic north marked using a fleur de lys motif
Also displays intercardinal and secondary intercardinal points for extra accuracy

This charming piece of maritime navigation would add interest to many a location. Of solid construction, delivered polished and ready for the captain's bridge or the home.
