This is a vintage posy vase. A Japanese, ceramic flower baluster in the manner of Delft from the late Art Deco period, dating to the mid 20th century, circa 1940.

Decorated with rich colour and of appealing slender proportion
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
White ceramic ground decorated profusely
Rich cobalt blue applied liberally with cloud swirl pattern
Japanese peony motif adds further visual interest
