This is a vintage ottoman stool. An English, leather and mahogany dressing or footstool, dating to the late 20th century, circa 1980.

Of executive appeal, with a traditional appearance and versatile nature
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good original order
Quality leather tanned to a deep red hue, with contrast stitching
Frame presents deep russet hues throughout

Deeply buttoned cushion in the Chesterfield manner
Of comfortable proportion at 7cm (2.75'') thick
Opens to reveal internal storage, ideal for small blankets or items
Dressed with a trio of cast iron feet with scrolled toes
