This is a vintage hotel tea chest. A Chinese, pewtered alloy chá caddy, dating to the Art Deco period, circa 1930.
- Delightful Art Deco caddy, with superb engraved detail
- Displays a desirable aged patina, lightly time worn with careful use
- Fascinating pewtered alloy box presents silvery grey tonality
- Opens to reveal a removable compartment tray, the lid offering a good seal
- Striking double dragon engraving accentuates the lid, with foliate engravings to the fascia
- Adorned to the lid interior and base with character mark engravings
