This is a vintage dog statue. An Oriental, ceramic decorative 'Dog of Fo' ornament dating to the late Art Deco period, circa 1950.
- Radiant in superb cerulean blue
- Displays a desirable aged patina
- Ceramic in good order with rich colour and quality glaze
- Bold, sitting dog with overt Oriental influence
- Great detail to the face and exuberant coat
- Left paw raised upon a brocade ball
- Stood upon a square socle with scrolled tip recesses
- Stamped to the base with the number 080 and other marks
