This is a vintage demi-lune planter. An Italian, weathered terracotta jardiniere, dating to the mid 20th century, circa 1960.
- Substantial and nicely detailed planter with a lightly weathered appearance
- Displays a desirable, naturally aged patina throughout
- Terracotta of robust form with light amber hues
- Decorative relief to the fascia, with a central cherub mask
- Appealing weight in the hand at 16.8kg (37 lb)
- Drainage hole to the demi-lune base for ease of drainage
- Maker's mark to the side for Zago Terrecotte - Impruneta
- Located within Tuscany, Impruneta is known for its terracotta production
