This is a vintage campaign chest. An Anglo-Indian, teak and brass inlaid decorative trunk, dating to the Art Deco period, circa 1940.
- Appealing decorative finish and of useful proportion
- Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
- Teak stocks present fine grain interest and rich caramel hues
- Darker hues to the hardwood interior contrast nicely
- Profusely inlaid with leaf decor, the lid held securely with cast iron clasps
- Removable interior insert hosts five opening compartments
- Pair of further candle boxes flank the insert, with a compartment to the base
- Brass straps to the corners and drop handles in the typical campaign manner
