This is a vintage Art Deco ginger jar. A Chinese, ceramic decorative spice pot, dating to the mid 20th century, circa 1940.

Pleasingly colourful and of attractive bulbous form
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
Cobalt blue ground plays host to a colourful palette
Profusely detailed with enamelled foliate scenes
Small domed lid sits neatly atop the jar
