This is a tall antique chest of drawers. A French, oak bedroom tallboy dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.

• Generous proportion and attractive mellow appearance
• Displays a desirable aged patina
• Select oak with wonderfully provincial light caramel hues
• Showing fine grain interest beneath a quality wax polish finish

• Thick top surface sits above square section shoulders with concave apron uniting the whole
• Carved corbel details sitting at the apex of decorative pillar motif
• Classically arranged as a suite of two over three graduated drawers

• Hidden drawer to upper with wooden latch concealed inside the right-hand upper drawer
• Each drawer dressed with broad circular wooden pulls
• Inset brass-lined locks to each, untested with key absent
• Standing upon a shallow plinth base, opening to the rear
