This is a set of six antique oak 'wavy line' ladderback dining chairs. Crafted in the Edwardian period, reviving designs of the late Georgian period in the Lancashire / Cheshire area of the U.K.
- Good quality in English oak with a mid-tone , polished finish
- Set has four standards & a pair of carver elbow chairs
- Rush seat pads in good order throughout
- Gently raked back for comfort
- Raised on stout turned front legs , over a traditional hoof foot, and square section rear
- United by a twin side rail box stretche r with decorative turned front stretcher
- Complemented by feature inset rosette to rears
- Practical & attractive - suitable for daily use
- Generous 48cm seat height
