This is a set of six antique dining chairs, English hoop back Windsor wheelbacks in elm dating to the late Victorian period circa 1900.
- Classic set of English country kitchen chairs
- After the Buckinghamshire patterns of the early 19th century
- A pair of carver armchairs complimented by four side chairs
- Good colour, grain interest and a desirable aged patina
- Generous seat widths and comfortable oblique armrests
- Raked, ash hoop backs feature central wheelback splats
- Flanked by a suite of three turned spindles either side
- Anchored into the solid elm saddle seat slab
- Raised on turned legs displaying a single ring design
- The box stretcher recessed at the front for comfort
