This is an antique set of 8 oak 'wavy line' ladderback dining chairs. Crafted in the Edwardian period, reviving designs of the late Georgian period in the Lancashire / Cheshire area of the U.K.
- Good quality in English oak with a mid-tone, polished finish
- Set has six standards & a pair of carver elbow chairs
- Rush seat pads in good order throughout
- Gently raked back for comfort
- Raised on stout turned front legs, over a traditional hoof foot, and chamfered square section rear
- United by a twin side rail box stretcher with decorative turned front stretcher
- Practical & attractive - suitable for daily use
- Generous 47cm seat height
