This is a set of 8 antique dining chairs. An English, walnut carver and seat with upholstered cushions, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910. 

• Graced with delightful walnut stocks and of appealing form
• Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order
• Warm caramel hues to the select walnut beneath a wax polish finish
• Further distinguished with fine grain interest throughout

• Two dashing carvers accompany a suite of six chairs
• Traditionally stuffed cushions, dressed with a quality upholstery and adorned with press stud trim
• Distinctive, pierced sash-shape upper rail adorned with carved motif
• Decorated lower sash and supports with foliate patera carvings

• Long, graceful arms to the carver sit upon turned and fluted supports
• Sash lower apron with carved shell to centre, flanked with scrolled brackets
• Front legs repeat the flute column finish with a pair of turned collars
• Square section rear legs united to the fore with a H-stretcher rail
