This is a pair of vintage campaign luggage cases. An English, leather and brass bound Lieutenant Colonel’s bedside nightstand, dating to the mid 20th century, circa 1950.

• Captivating casework, graced with wonderful colour depth and finishes
• Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout
• Quality leather tanned to superb rich caramels and showing light ageing
• Corners enhanced with brass caps over leather bindings

• Adjustable length leather straps secure the lid
• Once open, the lids remain raised upon blue straps
• Beautifully clean interior a charming shade of deep cornflower blue
• The tactile, quality lining finished with press stud detail

• Military interest to the front fascia, with the insignia for the Essex Regiment
• Each case numbered 1 & 2 respectively, with intact brass name plates
• Tasteful blue stained leather decorative sections to fascia
• Brass drop handles adorn either side, for ease of carriage
