This is a pair of tall antique dragon vases. A Chinese, brass decorative flower urn with strong Oriental taste, dating to the Victorian period, circa 1900.
- Strikingly overt in detail and iconography
- Displays a desirable aged patina throughout
- Ornate brass shows fine golden tonality and patination commensurate with age
- Decorated with superb dragon figures and other incidental iconography
- Curled around the neck of the vase, the upper dragon sits open mouthed to one side
- Two wonderfully three-dimensional dragons adorn the main body, with prominent horns
- Where the tails meet at the rear, engraved flowers and geometric patterns decorate the ground
- Fully formed character marks to each base sit within a final dragon emblem
