This is a pair of antique decorative fire dogs. An English, bronze fireside tool rest in Art Nouveau taste, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.

Captivatingly ornate with the wondrous hallmarks of the Art Nouveau period
Displaying a desirable aged patina throughout
Beautifully weathered bronze displays subtle golden tones and wonderful verdigris hues
Reassuringly heavy at a weight of 2.91kg (6.41 lb) each
Plume of feathers surmounts with foliate medallions and scrolled knees
