This is a mid 20th century plant stand, a William IV revival torchere in dark mahogany.

Well executed in a quality dark mahogany
Good colour with a lustrous wax polished finish
Robust ring turned baluster column with helical twist

Standing upon a tripod of stout cabriole legs
Decorated with carved acanthus leaf knees
Terminating in talon and ball feet

Solid and stable with a dished top for presentation of a plant, church candle or vase. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
