This is a long set of 12 antique dining chairs, English, Victorian balloon backs in mahogany dating to c.1850.
- A fine set of heavy and robust mahogany dining chairs
- Good colour and displaying grain interest with a desirable patina
- Generous seat height and width
- Ten having a straight front rail with two bow fronted
- Turned front legs with swept rears rising into a pinched waist
- Generous stock to the dished and shaped balloon backs
- Traditionally stuffed drop-in pads finished in a corded quality olive green cloth
- Clean and fully serviceable as is or easily recovered to suit any décor
