This is a large vintage model of France II. An English, mahogany collectible ship model on display stand and dating to the 20th century.
France II held the record for the greatest weight capacity of any merchant sailing ship. A five-mast barque design with steel hull, it was designed for the passage of nickel ore and featured seven passenger lounges.
