This is a large antique portrait. An English, framed watercolour behind glass, by Henry Benjamin Roberts (1831-1915), dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1880.

Displays a desirable aged patina throughout
Rich golden hues dance across the superb giltwood forms
Scroll and foliate motif accentuates the frame
Presents a woman in bonnet, with a catch light in her eyes
Captured in watercolour and set behind a clear, bright pane
Titled 'The Fisher Girl' with artist's signature to the lower edge
