This is a highly decorative coffee table in the Japanese taste from the last quarter of the twentieth century.
- Profusely decorated with scenes of birds and foliage
- Brass bound all round
- Hardwood serpentine apron
- Three drawers either side are flanked by cupboard doors
- Drawers dressed with brass drop handles
- Cupboards run full width accessed from either side
- Cupboard handles feature unusual slide action
- Raised on shaped squat feet
- United by typical full depth stretchers
