Georgian Oak Corner Cabinet, c.1750
Our Stock # LFA-1375
This is an antique, Georgian corner cabinet dating to c.1750.
A super example of provincial country furniture from the mid 18th century, this small corner cabinet displays a delicious warm patina and good graining in the English oak construction.
The canted corners extrude creating a breakfront that houses the twin field panel door dressed with a brass pull that operates a twist catch above a brass lock escutcheon. Inside a pair of shelves offer useful storage.
Above, a broad, upper frieze rises into a protruding pediment accentuated with dentil moulding in good proportion with the piece.
A charming little cabinet delivered, waxed, polished and ready for the home.
