This is an Edwardian antique corner table in the 18th century, Sheraton revival style.
An unusual find, this mahogany corner table is raised on tapering, square section legs terminating in spade feet. The legs inlaid with boxwood stringing and united by a lower tier shelf with serpentine front.
The bow front, frieze features a cock-beaded, oak lined drawer with cross band and string detail, dressed with brass, swan neck drop handles and a shaped key escutcheon with working lock and key.
The quadrant top surface displays well with good grain detail and colour, cross banded to the front with a lustrous finish. The back edges have a modest gallery finish in good proportion to the piece.
A super little table with solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
