This is an antique English oak dining table and six chairs, two carvers and four standard chairs, dating to c.1905.

A fine example of Arts & Crafts furniture from the turn of the century this dining set displays a Liberty quality and fine workmanship throughout in choice quarter sawn materials with wonderful grain detail and patina.

Raised upon solid oak legs that gently taper to a block foot, the three plank table top comfortably seats six. The square section detailing is picked up in the chair construction which is typically simple yet comfortable, attractive and accented by the subtley flared arm rests on the carvers and the rustic charm of the carved header rails throughout which feature stylised floral rosettes.

The drop in seat pads are perfectly functional as is, would benefit from re-webbing, or could be easily recovered to suit any decor.

A fabulous dining set in very good antique condition, solid joints, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
