Antique Writing Table, Edwardian Oak Desk

This is an Edwardian, antique desk dating to c.1910.
Crafted in English oak that displays medullary rays and good graining in the mellow waxed finish, this writing table offers a solid and stable proposition.
Raised on tapering, turned legs on cup feet the desk features an arched kneehole and a pair of drawers beneath desk extension slide. The drawers dressed with broad, shaped pulls.
The desktop is in good order with moulded edge detail and the side and back panels too are in good order allowing centre room placement if required.
A vernacular piece with solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
