This is an antique textile printing block. An English, carved copper on hardwood printer's stamp in Art Nouveau taste, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.

Displays a desirable aged patina - former inhabitants professionally treated
Hardwood form replete with carved hand grips to the reverse
Marked to the sides with the pattern number of 1233
Carved copper, repeating pattern presents exceptional skill
