This is an antique Tekke Torba. A Caucasian, woven tent bag or decorative wall covering, dating to the late 19th century, circa 1900.
- Superb example of the Torba or nomadic tent bag
- Displaying a desirable aged patina, free of fade or wear
- Tightly hand oven in crimson red pile with cream and black decorative palette
- Three oval medallions, each with an arrow head gul to centre
- Secondary details with sawtooth borders and small shield motif
- Dressed with an apron of long, loose tassels hanging freely beneath the panel
