This is an antique tea caddy. An English, rosewood and satinwood container with glass mixer, dating to the late Regency period, circa 1830.

Dressed to the fascia with an inlaid diamond lock escutcheon — in working order, key absent

Charming mixing glass with chased foliate leaf pattern to the rim
