This is an antique sofa table in rosewood, an English Regency Pembroke table dating to circa 1820.
- Superb colour and grain interest in the well figured rosewood
- Desirable aged patina and of quality craftsmanship
- Highlighted and decorated with brass inlay
- The top framed in twin brass string detail
- Extended by end leaves supported on attractive scrolled brackets
- Single frieze drawer flanked by a pair of decorative field panels
- Raised on a pair of stout, oblong section, tapering pillars
- Panelled sides with beaded edge mouldings
- Standing upon a hyperboloid base over scrolled feet, riding on original brass castors
