This is an antique sideboard, an English, Edwardian chiffonier in walnut displaying carved detail and dating to circa 1910.
- Mellow tones in the wax polished finish of the walnut
- Of quality craftsmanship with a desirable aged patina
- Original bevel edged mirror plates
- Working locks and keys
- Lower tier with ring turned legs rising to a mirrored central cupboard
- A single drawer over dressed with solid brass handles
- Flanked by a pair of smaller cupboards over fretted gallery recesses
- Counter top and shelf over display grain interest
- Beneath the shelf, a pair of square mirrors and a central, carved panel
- Over, a circular vanity mirror framed with stylised fan mount, brackets and carved panels
- Capped by a modest pediment with dentil moulding
