This is a desirable antique side table, an early Victorian decanter stand, English, dating to c.1850.
- A 3.5 inch deep, shaped, fret cut gallery to safely accommodate decanters
- Table top lined with leather to prevent sliding
- In attractive honey coloured oak with good graining under a waxed polished finish
- Raised on a stout baluster column carved with acanthus leaf decoration
- Standing upon a hyperboloid platform with lower moulding and roundels to the corners
- Riding upon the original solid brass castors beneath hollowed bun feet
