This is an antique scroll arm chair in mahogany and dating to the Regency period c.1830.
- Raised on delightfully turned, tapering, octagonal section legs
- Pinched and swept tapering rear legs
- Fluted front seat rail with side rails sweeping up into stiles
- Generous, dished crest rail displaying good grain detail
- Panel back rest mounted within well carved scroll mounts
- Sinuous curves to the classic scroll arms
- Traditionally stuffed drop-in seat pad locating on peg
- Needlepoint tapestry seat cover in good order
- Easily recovered to suit any d̩cor
