This is an antique school bell. An English, oak and brass wall mounted dinner chime, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910.

Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout
Select oak plinth presents fine grain interest and rich caramel hues
Generously sized brass bell, suspended from a stout brass bracket arm
Ball clapper with knotted rope handle strikes the bell interior with a prominent tone
