This is an antique refectory table. An English, quality oak 6 seat dining table, dating to the Victorian period, circa 1880.
- Superbly figured and comfortably sized centrepiece table for six
- Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
- Select oak with an arresting bounty of grain interest throughout
- Deep chestnut hues to the top and apron over hints of russet to the legs
- Comfortably seat 4 to 6 diners with a kneehole height of 63.5cm (25'')
- Three-plank top with cleated ends and deftly chamfered corners
- Broad square shoulders encase a deep apron to each side with shaped brackets
- Raised upon a quartet of thick barrel turned legs with square feet, united by stretcher
