This is an antique Punch's almanac compendium for 1848-1887. An English, bound illustrated annual set, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1880.
Established in 1841, Punch magazine was a weekly publication of humour and satire, illustrated by numerous artists and taking the titular Mr. Punch from the popular puppet show as its mascot. The magazine lasted throughout the Victorian period, with publication ceasing in 1992.
