This is an antique pine trunk, an English carriage chest dating to the Victorian period circa 1880.

Desirable aged patina to the honey tones of the antique pine
Lower moulding and lid edge moulding to the planked construction
Hand wrought iron carry handles to either end

Working lock and key
Lid opens on strap hinges to reveal voluminous storage within
Of huge character and ideal as a blanket chest or coffee table

A nice clean example with solid joints and construction. Delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
