This is an antique overmantel mirror. An English, Georgian, giltwood and gesso wall mirror dating to circa 1800.

Attractive, mellow golden tones in the giltwood and gesso frame
A quality mirror from the late Georgian period
Mid-sized and in good proportion
Later, old glass, mirror plate displaying light foxing

Crown moulding decorated with beaded trace
Breakfront frieze with horizontal bar
Decorated with rosette appliqué to the corners
Acanthus dressed columns flanking the mirror plate

A fine example in good order throughout. Supplied with fixings ready to hang. Delivered ready for the home.
