This is an antique ornamental Albani Vase. An English, bronze decorative dish similar to the Warwick Vase , dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1870.
- Delightfully aged with superb detail and Roman interest
- Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
- Dark bronze exterior presents cool, charcoal tones
- Naturally finished interior with mellow golden hues
- Four relief cast masks decorate each side, creating a prominent fascia to the tapering dish
- Superb twisted vine handles show appealing detail, dressed with foliate mounts
- Broad acanthus leaf pattern adorns the intersection with the fluted tapered stem
- Raised upon a circular foot, dressed with a protective leather pad
