This is an antique Oriental planter bowl. A Chinese, brass relief decorated jardiniere pot, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1850.
- Distinctive example of 19th century Qing Dynasty decor
- Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
- Appealing tonality to the brass form with deep golden tones
- Of good weight in the hand at 1.68kg (3.7 lb)
- Circumference adorned with an engraved Greek Key border
- Superb visual appeal to the fascia with relief falcon and foliate motif
- Traditional character mark resides upon the base of the planter
- The whole standing upon a trio of Falcon head legs with rounded toes
