This is an antique, Edwardian magazine or newspaper rack dating to c.1910.
This vernacular piece displays good grain detail throughout. Crafted in English oak the simplicity of design offers an attractive and functional piece of furniture.
Raised on shaped stiles a lower bookshelf offers storage with a narrow shelf over and neatly elevates the angled paper rack to a comfortable height when placed alongside a sofa or armchair.
