This is an antique ladies travelling vanity box. A Chinese, elm and brass dressing table case with internal mirror, dating to the early 20th century, circa 1920.

• Set upon a pivot, the mirror comes to rest, acting as a prop for the lid

• Left-hand drawer dressed with a brass lock escutcheon — key absent
• Each swing out wing hosts a drawer and sliding cover to reveal a second storage space
• Robust drop handles to each side aid ease of carriage
