This is an antique keepsake box. A Scottish, sycamore work or jewellery case, dating to the Victorian period, circa 1880.

- Presents striking golden caramel tones beneath a wax polish finish
- Shallow lid opens to reveal a removable mahogany inset tray
- Dressed to the front with a monogrammed lock escutcheon with the initials CA
- Held securely by the working lock — key present
- Protective base with a distinctive faux crocodile textured finish
