This is an antique joint stool, Victorian Jacobean revival piece dating to the mid 19th century, English c.1850.

Single plank top in English oak with moulded edge detail
Wisps of medullary rays and grain interest with good colour
Knocks commensurate with age add to the charm and aged patina

Raised on stout, turned legs
Generous box stretcher and broad frieze
Pegged joints in a very stable construction

A charming stool or side table with solid joints and construction. Delivered Waxed, polished and ready for the home.
