This is an antique hat box. An English, leather hat case with silk top hat by Dunn, dating to the Regency period and later, circa 1820.

• Hat size approximately 50.5cm (20") in circumference - corresponds to Adult Small
• Maker's mark to interior for G.A. Dunn & Co, hatters of London
• Trimmed with a light silk lining and chestnut coloured, leather head band

This is a fascinating antique hat box with later, attractive top hat. Displaying years of dependable travel use, the hat box wears its patina with aplomb. The hat, itself an antique item, is in very good order and sports a dashing black visage. Delivered polished and ready to behold.
