This is an antique hall mirror. A French, gilt gesso ornate mirror in the Baroque manner, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1850.

Eye-catching mirror with a superb frame and pleasingly original plate
Displays a desirable aged patina throughout
Gilt gesso frame presents rich golden hues to the ornate frame
Mirror shows desirable mercury foxing, commensurate with age
Bold surmount with scroll motif, tapering to the base
Mirror presents a delightful reflection, with a bright appearance
Dressed to the reverse with a pair of brass mounting loops for ease of hanging
