This is an antique fireside bin. An English, copper firewood store or coal scuttle, dating to the mid Victorian period, circa 1870.
- Dashing Victorian copper bin, perfect for the fireside
- Displays a desirable aged patina and in good original order
- Hand-beaten copper shows wonderful amber hues and patinated finish
- Wide flared rim to each side, with rolled edge over a tapering form
- Stout rolled handle rotating on superb ivy leaf shaped mounts
- Raised upon a distinctive tiered oval base
